Tauira leadership – Te Komiti Teina

Te Komiti Teina is the national student leadership group within Te Kaunihera. It represents tauira voices and creates opportunities for students to contribute to the direction of Māori nursing.

Getting involved is a chance to grow your confidence, build connections, and step into leadership early in your career.

National Māori Student Nurse Hui

The annual Tauira Hui brings together Māori nursing students from across the motu for connection, learning, and whakawhanaungatanga.

It’s a space to share experiences, build confidence, and strengthen your identity as a Māori nurse.
